    【Purpose of Job】
    The candidate is responsible for continuous growth of his/her assigned portfolio for sales and category strategies in order to achieve the monthly sales targets. This shall include proposing and implementing store level strategies in order to drive sales within particular stores.

    【Responsibilities】
    1. Able to propose and implement promotional strategies which includes executing promotional strategies within store levels. Incumbent must be able to manage the return on investment in line with business plan and objectives.
    2. Able to propose, supervise and implement short to mid term sales & promotional strategies at store level for specific brand in order to be able to achieve overall monthly sales target.
    3. Able to initiate and conduct four (4) business review sessions with key retailers per annum. Among other initiatives taken for this responsibility would include evaluating and reviewing past promotional plans and to propose improvement plans for these promotion initiatives.
    4. To ensure that products distribution, shelf presentation and merchandising are carried out as per planned. To ensure execution and consistency of all promotional and sales plans across one’ portfolio.
    5. Consistently monitor, evaluate, review and improve or maximize on investment expended on all promotional initiatives.
    6. To ensure at all times that new products are efficiently distributed across all outlets under the incumbent’s portfolio in order to maximize sales volume.
    7. To allocate, monitor, evaluate and improve the utilization of the allocated budget for one’s portfolio. To ensure return on investment for all expenditures on sales & promotion initiatives.
    8. To involve oneself from drafting till signing of the annual Trading Terms with relevant key retailers. Incumbent should also participate in discussions on trading terms with key stakeholders.
    9. To prepare Sales Forecast on monthly basis to Sales Planning and Supply Chain.
    10. To educate, train and exposed sales force on system, procedures and work practices. This shall includes motivating the sales force and etc.
    11. To communicate and to ensure that key account team is well aligned on the sales directions and initiatives. This includes carrying out joint regular reviews on the sales progress of each account under one’s own portfolio.
    12. Able to propose short to mid-term strategies which includes but not confined to driving the pricing, promotion, product display and marketing at store level to maximize business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from a reputable university.
    - Experience : At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity of the same or near industry. (FMCG Industry is preferred)
    - Require Skill : Experience in promotional strategies and improvement plans for sales and client.
    - Well verse in reporting tools and Microsoft Office. Preferably someone with exposure in market research data.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
