Job Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with customers across retail, food service, and e-commerce channels. Your role involves managing product availability, promoting sales, and supporting clients in all three sectors to ensure maximum business growth. This position will involve travel, including overnight stays.Key Responsibilities:1.Retail:o Develop and maintain relationships with retail clients such as supermarkets, department stores, and specialty shops.o Negotiate pricing, promotions, and agreements with retail partners.o Ensure products are well-stocked, correctly displayed, and readily available in retail outlets.o Monitor retail sales performance and provide solutions to drive sales growth.o Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and appeal in stores.2.Food Service:o Build and maintain strong partnerships with food service clients (e.g., restaurants, cafes, hotels, catering companies).o Understand customer needs in the food service industry and propose tailored solutions.o Promote products through tastings, demos, and other sales events to food service clients.o Ensure timely delivery of products to food service outlets and manage stock levels.o Track food service account performance and offer suggestions for improvement.3. E-commerce:o Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure accurate product listings, inventory, and pricing on online platforms.o Develop online sales strategies and work to increase visibility and sales through e-commerce channels.o Monitor sales trends, customer feedback, and inventory on e-commerce platforms (e.g., company website, third-party marketplaces).o Assist in developing promotions and digital marketing campaigns to boost online sales.o Provide support to online customers and resolve any sales-related issues.4. General Sales Duties:o Achieve sales targets and KPIs across retail, food service, and e-commerce channels.o Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.o Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and promotions.o Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events to promote products and strengthen relationships.o Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform future sales strategies.
