Position SummaryThe Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and integrity of all instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment used across company's rubber thread production facilities. The role supports continuous operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and improving sensors, analyzers, PLC/SCADA systems, and process-monitoring devices throughout the compounding, extrusion, , drying, curing, effluent-treatment, water-treatment, and utilities areas.The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within latex, rubber, polymer, or chemical processing industries, and possesses strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.Key Responsibilities1. Instrumentation Maintenance & Troubleshooting- Perform routine inspection, calibration, tuning, and preventive maintenance of all instrumentation devices, including:- Level, flow, pressure, temperature, and pH sensors- Load cells, viscosity meters, thermocouples, RTDs- Dosing-pump controllers, flow meters, and pressure transmitters- Process analyzers in compounding, acid baths, water-bath monitoring, drying ovens, and curing ovens- Diagnose failures and ensure timely corrective actions to minimize downtime in production lines.2.
