The Project Engineer in NPI acts as the technical coordinator who ensures product and process readiness, supports smooth pilot builds, and drives timely issue closure — so that new/transfer products launch into mass production successfully and on schedule.Key Responsibilities:- Plan NPI/transfer project by defining deliverables, milestones, actions and timelines.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain) to track project status and resolve issues.- Prepare and update project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, mostly on weekly basis.- Highlight risks, roadblocks, and escalate critical issues to manager.- Document lessons learned and propose continuous improvement initiatives for future NPI projects.- Perform purchasing for tool & component and delivery planning.- Filling for RTP (Release to Production) for project closure.

The Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) is responsible for defining, developing, and validating manufacturing processes to successfully introduce new/transfer products into mass production. This role ensures processes are robust, efficient, and compliant with quality requirements by working closely with cross-functional teams from product design to production ramp-up.Key Responsibilities:1. Feasibility & manufacturability support- Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturing) activities.- Participate in drawing and design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability.- Evaluate and confirm inspection feasibility; define required measurement tools and methods.2. Process planning & definition- Define and document end-to-end process flows for new products.- Identify and specify necessary equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.- Set and validate process cycle time requirements to meet capacity targets.3. Process documentation & systems- Create Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA and Work Instructions.- Ensure process documentation is approved and ready before pilot builds.- Revise/update process documentation after pilot build with lesson learnt.- Create and maintain process routings and BOM data in ERP systems (e.g., AX).4. Pilot build & line validation- Support pilot, pre-production, and qualification builds in production floor.- Validate actual process cycle time, study gap against planned requirements.- Validate process stability and capability to achieve required first pass yield.- Analyze build data to identify process gaps or failure modes.- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.- Perform drop test to validate packaging design.
