【Job Summary】We are seeking a highly driven, experienced, and technically grounded Assistant Manager / Senior Sales Executive to join a market-leading regional manufacturer of industrial cooling systems and HVAC solutions in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Country Sales Manager, this position is a high-visibility, autonomous role created to succeed a retiring team member and drive key account growth across Malaysia’s rapidly expanding industrial and commercial sectors.In this position, you will take full ownership of technical sales, strategic client management, and lifecycle equipment replacements for high-value industrial cooling towers. Your primary domain will encompass critical infrastructure environments including hyper-scale Data Centers, High-Rise Commercial Complexes, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Hospitals, and Manufacturing Plants throughout Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and the broader Klang Valley region.Operating under a flexible, home-based direct-field structure, you will manage your day-to-day operations with a high degree of independence. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for facility managers, building maintenance executives, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contractors, and project consultants. Rather than relying on routine transactional sales, your role centers on evaluating aging on-site infrastructure, conducting condition inspections, identifying operational inefficiencies, and crafting customized retrofitting or replacement proposals. Cooling towers naturally follow a 10-year replacement cycle, giving you a steady, predictable foundation of existing client accounts to upgrade alongside new project acquisition.Because this role sits directly under senior management without an extensive internal training runway, we place strong emphasis on candidates who bring direct, practical field experience. Whether you come from a background in industrial cooling tower sales, facility equipment management (where you managed cooling tower units and communicated directly with vendor engineers), or MEP/HVAC contracting, your technical familiarity will allow you to hold confident, peer-level conversations with client engineers from day one.Backed by over 50 years of global Japanese engineering heritage and supported by a major local manufacturing facility in Selangor, you will offer clients unmatched technical quality, local spare parts availability, and rapid project turnaround times. If you are an ambitious technical sales professional or facility management expert looking to step into an Assistant Manager capacity with competitive remuneration up to MYR 10,000, this position offers an exceptional platform for long-term career growth, high field autonomy, and impactful business delivery.【Responsibilities】・Key Account Management & Business Development:- Manage and expand relationships with building owners, facility management companies, MEP contractors, and industrial plant managers across key growth sectors (Data Centers, Commercial Complexes, Hotels, Manufacturing).- Actively prospect and convert high-value business opportunities for new installations, capacity expansions, and complete cooling tower replacements.- Oversee the full sales lifecycle—from initial technical consultation and field site visits to proposal presentation, price negotiation, and deal closure.・On-Site Technical Evaluation & Lifecycle Replacement Proposals:- Conduct direct physical and operational inspections of customer cooling towers and evaporative heat transfer equipment on-site.- Evaluate equipment degradation, thermal performance, and maintenance history to propose timely system upgrades, retrofits, or full replacements aligned with the product's 10-year lifecycle.- Translate complex mechanical specifications and engineering benefits into clear, high-value commercial proposals for client decision-makers.・Commercial & Engineering Coordination:- Prepare detailed commercial quotations, tender submissions, product selection sheets, and project costings in close coordination with technical support teams.- Liaise with regional engineering, production, and inside support staff to ensure accurate equipment specs, competitive lead times, and seamless delivery schedules.- Maintain precise records of account activities, project pipelines, and sales forecasts via internal reporting channels.・Customer Consultation & Industry Networking:- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound technical inquiries via phone, email, or direct client referrals.- Represent the company at industry expos, engineering seminars, and client networking engagements to build corporate visibility and maintain strong market presence.

・Work Location: Selangor

・Saturday Work (Overtime Pay/Compensatory Leave): Replacement leave (0.5 days : 4 hours), 1 day : 8 hours and above)
・Probationary Period: 3 months
・Salary Increase Rate: Subject for approval
・Paid Leave (Annual): < 2 years: 8 days, 2 – 5 years: 12 days, >5 years : 16 days
