  ■ JOB OVERVIEW
  As a Manufacturing Manager, you will lead large-scale, labor-intensive manufacturing operations to achieve high performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development.
  You will oversee multi-shift production operations, ensure operational stability, and drive continuous improvement in alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
  
  ■ RESPONSIBILITIES
  Overall
  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations including cutting, crimping, sub-assembly, final assembly, and inspection processes
  • Manage large workforce across multiple shifts, including operators, line leaders, and supervisors
  • Ensure achievement of production targets (daily, weekly, monthly) with effective manpower deployment
  • Drive operational discipline, standardization, and adherence to work practices
  • Optimize manpower utilization, attendance, and workforce flexibility (multi-skilling, skill matrix)
  • Drive productivity improvement (labor efficiency, output per hour, cycle time)
  • Control direct labor cost, overtime, absenteeism, and attrition
  • Lead line balancing, takt time improvement, and capacity optimization
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g. IATF/ISO) and customer requirements
  • Drive defect reduction, customer complaint prevention, and structured problem-solving initiatives
  • Promote strong shopfloor safety culture and zero-incident mindset
  • Manage manufacturing cost including labor, scrap, and consumables
  • Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke)
  • Monitor KPIs and drive performance through structured review and escalation processes
  • Develop and coach supervisors and team leaders to improve capability and performance
  • Manage industrial relations issues in a labor-intensive environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, PC&L, Quality, Maintenance, HR) to ensure smooth operations

  • Comply with company EHS policies and support site EHS objectives and targets
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible working environment
  • Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards
  • Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
  • Promote safety awareness, safe behavior, and continuous EHS improvement
