Job Description
• Ensure Company’s vision, mission, values, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders including clients and employees.
• Ensure compliance with Company’s policies and procedure and highest standards of integrity and professionalism and adhere to in the procurement process.
• Collaborate with all level of functional leaders in order to achieve the Company Objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies drive improvement in supply chain planning and execution in order to meet customer requirements, optimize inventory levels, increase material velocity, and reduce overall supply chain costs.
• Implement programs to maintain the lowest possible total system inventory exposure, reducing risk of company.
• Oversee procurement and negotiation with suppliers for delivery of quality goods in a timely manner in the most cost effective prices.
• Ensure materials are available and recommend methods for improving efficiency to avoid out of stock or over stock situations.
• Identify and develop new & existing suppliers to be in line with the quality system implemented by the Company as per ISO system requirement. Initiate cost reduction methods together with the technical team.
• Oversee on-going cost down activities.
• Coordinate with related departments and suppliers on the material reject issue.
• Ensure incoming/ outgoing activities meet customers’ requirements on a timely manner and comply with regulations.
• Propose and negotiate most cost effective transport/ shipping rates.
• Motivate, train, develop & coordinate activities of subordinates.
• Review all purchase orders, including project purchase, and find out root cause of mistakes in orders and implement solutions to prevent recurrences.
• Carry out general managerial roles to ensure compliance with Company’s policies, develop the talent capability via training and coaching to ensure they acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and competency to carry out their responsibilities and achieve targets, ensure effective use of Company’s assets, establish good internal & external relationship and communication and to be a good role model.
Qualifications
Requirement
- Language : English, Malay
- Education Background : Bachelor/Master/ Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Experience : At least 8-10 years of working experience in switchgear/ metal/ electrical/ electronic industries only
- Skills :
Proficient in Microsoft Office suites
Familiar with use of ERP system
Knowledge of EBS system will be an advantage
Good knowledge on local & overseas market requirements
Excellent leadership skills & team management

- Others : Possess good communication & writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and EnglishEnglish Level
