SummaryThe Senior Engineer (M&E) is responsible for coordinating and supervising all M&E works on site to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.The role involves close collaboration with subcontractors, consultants, and the project team to support smooth project execution and timely reporting to the Project Manager.Key Responsibilities- To understand Project policy for safety, schedule, cost and quality and support Project Manager to achieve them on all site activities.- To overall coordination of the various trades in relation to the main Building works.- To review for discrepancy between design, M&E construction drawings. - To ensure the constructions are as per approved design and use of materials and components. - To liaise with M&E subcontractors /suppliers, consultant and customers. - To coordinate and direct the performance of the M&E subcontractors and suppliers especially in technical aspect. - To jointly prepare with the specialist M&E subcontractors, the various work method statements and/or Safe Operating Procedures when required. - To coordinate and periodically report to the Project Manager the project’s progress status at the interval as directed by the Project Manager. - To enhance safety awareness throughout construction period.
