  ■ POSITION OVERVIEW
  We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic, and commercially driven General Manager to steer our operations in Malaysia.
  This is a critical succession-track role, carefully structured for an experienced leader to shadow our current Managing Director before fully transitioning into the MD position in 2027.
  The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our local production facilities, our corporate clients, and our Japanese parent group.
  You will take full ownership of the subsidiary's Profit & Loss (P&L), drive aggressive sales growth, optimize manufacturing operations, and foster a high-performance culture across all departments.
  
  ■ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Strategic Leadership & Succession Transitionn
  Shadow the outgoing Managing Director to absorb local operational nuances, corporate governance policies, and key stakeholder relationships before taking full helm in 2027.
  Align local business objectives with the long-term vision, growth strategies, and corporate compliance standards established by the Japanese Parent Group.
  Serve as the primary liaison between the Malaysian operations, regional offices, and international stakeholders.
  
  2. Comprehensive P&L & Financial Management
  Take ultimate accountability for the company’s P&L, working to maximize profitability, manage operational expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
  Formulate annual corporate budgets, financial forecasts, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans.
  Implement strict cost-control measures across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics functions without compromising product quality.
  
  3. Sales Leadership & Business Development
  Drive the commercial sales strategy, identifying new market opportunities in emerging sectors like Electric Vehicles (EV), advanced medical devices, and high-end electronics.
  Manage and expand relationships with tier-1 corporate clients, major electronics manufacturers, and key automotive supply chain partners.
  Lead, mentor, and track the performance of the sales division to achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets.
  
  4. Team Leadership & Operations Oversight
  Manage, mentor, and scale a multi-functional team, including Production, Sales, Finance, HR, and Quality Assurance departments.
  Collaborate closely with plant managers to oversee precision die-cutting, cleanroom operations, and supply chain efficiencies.
  Nurture an organizational culture that balances high-precision engineering standards with strong employee engagement and retention.
