Job Description

• Responsible for daily smooth operations of the warehouse department.• Control and manage the movement of inventory. • Monitor and ensure implementation of the operating system, reporting requirements and recommend changes for improvement.• Continuously improve the service level, speed of work and cost effectiveness of inventory management, warehousing, incoming and outgoing operations.• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.• Ensure safety and security measures conform to requirement.• Troubleshoot problems in the department and provide effective solutions.• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.• Maintain inter-departmental rapport.• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).• Conduct meetings and training of staff.• Staff performance appraisal.• Control and monitor overheads of the department.• Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by the management.
