  • Job Description

    Reporting to General Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
    • Develop business/factory action plans for all departments/units aligned with the group of companies’ strategies and targets.
    • Ensure the factory units takes an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service level and lead time by having an understanding of continuous improvement behaviours, methodology and processes.
    • Provide support to sales staffs to improve understanding of customers’ requirements in order to identify both potential constraints and solutions.
    • Prepare annual budget, oversee progress, manage operations within the budget and resources and determine actions to cost issues as necessary.
    • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
    • Develop programs, projects, goals and KPI metrics to attain high level of operational performance. For example, production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
    • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
    • Commit to plant safety procedures.
    • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
    • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background :
    Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.

    - Experience :
    At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

    - Require Skill :
    • Proven records for work and managerial experience as a factory/operations manager.
    • Excellence interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
    • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
    • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation and inventory.
    • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
    • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
