The Automation Project Senior Engineer is responsible for leading and managing automation projects from inception to completion. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to deliver innovative automation solutions that meet company needs and enhance operational efficiency.• Lead and manage automation projects from planning to execution.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives.• Communicate with authorize vendors on the user needs and company’s requirement.• Develop detailed project plans and timelines.• Allocate resources and manage project budgets.• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments.• Implement automation solutions and integrate with existing systems.• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.• Conduct project evaluations and generate performance reports.• Follow up and coordinate formalities involving other departments such as procurement parts list etc post project implementation

Responsibilities:• Design and perform lab scale polymer extrusion and injection molding at technical workshop.• Design and perform laboratory analysis such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, EDX, etc• Perform mechanical properties checking on product such as Tensile, Flexural checking, etc.• Able to trouble-shoot production process (polymer compounding) and provide technical support.• Assist and lead a team in product or process development projects.• Provide customer technical support (local and oversea).
