• Program Development: Create new placement programs for the Fuji NXT III equipment utilizing CAD/centroid data and Bill of Materials (BOM) through the Fuji Nexim software platform.• Component Library Management: Establish, maintain, and continuously update accurate part data within the machine's library. This includes configuring vision recognition settings, verifying part dimensions, and assigning appropriate nozzles.• Setup Verification: Generate, manage, and verify feeder setup sheets to ensure accurate and efficient material loading.• Program Fine-Tuning: Execute first-article inspections (FAI) and troubleshoot new programs directly on the machine to guarantee flawless component pickup, placement coordinates, and vision recognition.• Cycle Time Reduction: Continuously analyze machine performance metrics to optimize placement sequences and head utilization. The goal is to achieve the shortest possible cycle times and maximize Components Per Hour (CPH).• Yield Improvement: Monitor production lines for placement defects (e.g., missing parts, tombstones, misalignments, attrition). Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions, primarily through strategic program adjustments.• NPI Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams to smoothly transition new products into mass production, with a strong emphasis on SMT-related Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews.• Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the technical escalation point to respond to and resolve complex machine errors, including component vision failures, mechanical faults, and system communication issues.• Technician/Operator Training: Develop and deliver training for SMT technicians/operators covering daily machine operation, proper material replenishment, minor troubleshooting techniques, and standardized changeover procedures.• Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by the manager.
