■ POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a high-caliber, strategic, and commercially driven General Manager to steer our operations in Malaysia.This is a critical succession-track role, carefully structured for an experienced leader to shadow our current Managing Director before fully transitioning into the MD position in 2027.The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our local production facilities, our corporate clients, and our Japanese parent group.You will take full ownership of the subsidiary's Profit & Loss (P&L), drive aggressive sales growth, optimize manufacturing operations, and foster a high-performance culture across all departments.■ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Strategic Leadership & Succession TransitionnShadow the outgoing Managing Director to absorb local operational nuances, corporate governance policies, and key stakeholder relationships before taking full helm in 2027.Align local business objectives with the long-term vision, growth strategies, and corporate compliance standards established by the Japanese Parent Group.Serve as the primary liaison between the Malaysian operations, regional offices, and international stakeholders.2. Comprehensive P&L & Financial ManagementTake ultimate accountability for the company’s P&L, working to maximize profitability, manage operational expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.Formulate annual corporate budgets, financial forecasts, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans.Implement strict cost-control measures across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics functions without compromising product quality.3. Sales Leadership & Business DevelopmentDrive the commercial sales strategy, identifying new market opportunities in emerging sectors like Electric Vehicles (EV), advanced medical devices, and high-end electronics.Manage and expand relationships with tier-1 corporate clients, major electronics manufacturers, and key automotive supply chain partners.Lead, mentor, and track the performance of the sales division to achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets.4. Team Leadership & Operations OversightManage, mentor, and scale a multi-functional team, including Production, Sales, Finance, HR, and Quality Assurance departments.Collaborate closely with plant managers to oversee precision die-cutting, cleanroom operations, and supply chain efficiencies.Nurture an organizational culture that balances high-precision engineering standards with strong employee engagement and retention.

- Oversee end‑to‑end operations for PVD part cleaning, fabrication, and sandblasting processes.- Develop and implement workflows, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure consistency, quality, and safety.- Plan daily work schedules, manage resource allocation, and ensure operational throughput meets customer commitments.- Ensure all parts cleaning and fabrication processes comply with required technical standards, contamination control specifications, and surface finish requirements.- Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and root cause analyses for defects or non‑conformities.- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve turnaround time, and enhance process capability.- Supervise, coach, and develop technicians.- Conduct skills assessments, identify gaps, and execute structured training programs.- Manage team performance, discipline, and workforce planning to meet operational needs.- Enforce strong safety culture - ensure compliance with OSH, chemical handling, and equipment operation guidelines.- Maintain sandblasting booths, cleaning lines, fabrication equipment, and related facilities in optimal condition.- Serve as the primary operational contact for customers, addressing scheduling, technical inquiries, escalations, and service expectations.- Collaborate with Business Development and QA teams to support customer audits.- Monitor operating costs, optimize material usage, and improve workforce productivity.- Track and report KPIs such as throughput, yield, cycle time, and Turn Around Time.- Prepare monthly operational reports, forecasts, and improvement plans.- Lead special projects such as process automation, new equipment introduction, service expansion, and operational layout improvements.- Evaluate and implement new cleaning technologies, fabrication methods, and surface preparation techniques.
