Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new overseas markets and acquire international customers.

- Gather customer feedback and work closely with the production team to recommend product improvements based on overseas market demands.

- Education Background: At least diploma in any industry
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B gold jewellery export sales or international business development.
- Existing overseas customer contacts, particularly among jewellery wholesalers, distributors, and retailers, would be a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of export procedures, international trade practices, and overseas customer relationship management.

The Sales Application Engineer is responsible for driving new business development, technical application support, and revenue growth throughout Southeast Asia. This is a semiconductor-first position, with approximately 75-80% of the role focused on developing company's semiconductor business and the remaining 20-25% focused on strategic Industrial and Automotive opportunities.Within the semiconductor market, the Sales Application Engineer will develop relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, wafer fabs, IDMs, foundries, OSAT providers, advanced packaging companies, equipment OEMs, and technology partners. Key applications include wafer backgrinding and thinning, dicing and singulation, dressing, grinding, polishing, advanced packaging, Silicon and SiC wafer processing, and other precision material-removal processes.This is not primarily an account-maintenance position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong hunter mentality, proactively identifying new customers, applications, projects, and revenue opportunities while expanding existing accounts through cross-selling. The role combines technical application engineering, consultative selling, new-business development, and strategic account management.Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow company's semiconductor business throughout Southeast Asia, with semiconductor representing approximately 75-80% of the role.- Identify and pursue new opportunities with semiconductor manufacturers, wafer fabs, IDMs, foundries, OSATs, advanced packaging companies, equipment manufacturers, and related technology companies.- Develop opportunities for company's semiconductor portfolio, including back grinding wheels, dicing solutions, dressing boards, precision grinding products, polishing technologies, and related abrasive solutions.- Support applications involving Silicon and SiC wafer processing, wafer backgrinding and thinning, dicing, singulation, dressing, grinding, polishing, packaging, and advanced packaging.- Lead technical sales presentations, customer evaluations, product trials, qualification programs, and commercialization activities.- Work directly with customer Process Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Management teams to identify manufacturing challenges and develop effective technical and commercial solutions.- Actively cross-sell company's products into additional customer processes, applications, manufacturing lines, and facilities.- Coordinate customer trials and technical evaluations with company's R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, and global commercial teams.- Develop strategic account plans for major semiconductor customers and identify opportunities for regional and global expansion.- Monitor semiconductor investments, capacity expansions, technology roadmaps, competitive activity, advanced packaging developments, and emerging applications throughout Southeast Asia.- Develop Industrial and Automotive opportunities representing approximately 20-25% of the role, focusing on precision grinding, superfinishing, polishing, dimensional control, surface finishing, and advanced material processing.- Build relationships with automotive component manufacturers, bearing manufacturers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, precision manufacturers, equipment OEMs, and industrial customers.- Achieve annual sales, profitability, new-business, and strategic-account growth objectives.- Maintain a strong hunter mentality and consistently develop new customers, new applications, and new revenue opportunities.- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with disciplined follow-up from initial opportunity through technical qualification and commercialization.- Expand existing accounts through cross-selling, new applications, new products, and penetration into additional customer manufacturing locations.- Develop value propositions based on productivity, process improvement, quality, product life, yield, and total cost of ownership.- Participate in pricing discussions, negotiations, forecasting, and account planning.- Maintain accurate customer information, opportunities, activities, forecasts, and pipeline data within HubSpot CRM.- Collaborate with company's global sales organization to support multinational customers and strategic accounts.- Develop and manage distributor, representative, and channel relationships where appropriate.- Represent company at customer meetings, semiconductor exhibitions, trade shows, technical conferences, and other industry events.- Travel extensively throughout Southeast Asia to support customers and develop new business.- Perform other duties and strategic projects as assigned.
