  ■ JOB SUMMARY
  The BO Chargeman is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted, safe, and efficient operation of the High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and automated facilities at the distribution center mega-logistics hub. The candidate will serve as the certified competent person registered under the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) to oversee all high-voltage electrical switching, preventive maintenance, compliance, and emergency restoration.
  
  ■ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. High Voltage (HV) & Low Voltage (LV) System Management
  - Act as the registered Competent Person (BO Chargeman) under Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations for the facility.
  - Perform operational High Voltage (11kV / 33kV) switching, isolation, racking out/in of HT circuit breakers, and earth switches safely.
  - Oversee the daily operations and monitoring of HT Switchgear, Power Transformers, Ring Main Units (RMU), LV Main Switchboards (MSB), Sub-Switchboards (SSB), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and Standby Diesel Generators.
  - Monitor incoming power supply quality from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and manage maximum demand (MD) power factor correction to optimize energy consumption.
  
  2. Facilities Maintenance & Operational Integrity
  - Plan and execute daily, monthly, and annual Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs for all high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
  - Trouble-shoot electrical faults, trip incidents, and system anomalies swiftly to minimize facility downtime for automated material handling systems (ASRS, conveyors) and logistics operations.
  - Supervise appointed electrical contractors, ST-registered Competent Engineers, and third-party vendors during scheduled shutdowns, statutory inspections, and calibration exercises.
  
  3. Statutory Compliance & Safety
  - Maintain complete compliance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, and Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) guidelines.
  - Upkeep and update the official Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Electrical Logbook, single-line diagrams, switching schedules, and operational records.
  - Enforce strict Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and issue Permits to Work (PTW) for high-risk electrical tasks.
  
  4. Emergency Response & Continuous Support
  - Lead immediate emergency troubleshooting and power restoration procedures during TNB power outages, grid surges, or system trips.
  - Provide standby support and manage emergency power supply transitions (Diesel Generator synchronized startup and UPS cut-over).
