■ JOB OVERVIEWSWe are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Driver Assistant to support our RORO collection and transportation operations.■ RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist the lorry driver in the collection, transportation and delivery of RORO containers between client sites, landfill facilities and designated locations.• Act as a banksman/spotter during reversing, parking, loading, unloading and lorry manoeuvring.• Assist in keeping the assigned lorry, equipment, tools and accessories clean, safe and in good condition.• Ensure collection and delivery activities follow the daily schedule and instructions.• Follow all company safety policies, road safety requirements and operational procedures.• Report any accidents, safety hazards, incidents or operational issues to the supervisor/manager immediately.• Maintain proper hygiene and housekeeping standards while on duty.• Comply with the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system and safety requirements.• Willing to undergo training to develop the skills required to operate a RORO lorry in the future.• Perform other duties assigned by Management to support daily operations.
