• Job Description

  Job Objectives:
  -To establish optimized assembly process to increase process efficiency and process yield.
  
  Roles And Responsibilities:
  -Establish and maintaining manufacturing line layout and workflow for assembly products.
  -Calculate and Analyse process cycle time and throughput
  -Calculate Assembly Cost for Manufacturing
  -Analyse and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  -Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  -Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  -Assist NPI team for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Liaise with the R&D engineers and contract manufacturers (CMs) to introduce new designs into mass production
  -Monitoring Process yield charts/ graphs and establish improvement activities in order to ensure process efficiency and productivity target is met.
  -Participate in the design review, process and product validation.
  -Work with the Supplier; Quality and Mfg teams to ensure that proper Quality Control Plans, Flow Plans, Work Instructions, PFMEA, Cpk, SPC and other regulatory certifications are completed for the implementation of the new product design.
  -Support materials planning and production planning teams.
  -Evaluate employee performance periodically, communication to the employees their strengths and weaknesses and recommend appropriate merit increases.
  -Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
  -Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  -Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  -Ensure line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and performing to standard.
  -To ensure that all staff within the department complies with and support in the quality, health and safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
