  Job Description
  Senior Logistic Specialist / Logistic Asst Manager is responsible for executing a warehouse operations and logistic activities. He/she performs in adherence to setting up procedures, and efficient operations of importing goods and equipment & exporting as well.
  
  He/She also coordinates the deliveries, performs transaction documentation process and secure handling of goods.
  He/She also supports implementation of improvement opportunities within the warehouse operations in Johor Bahru Plant & provide guidance to China logistic /warehouse management. A hands on candidate is required.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the 3PL logistic service companies and perform the documentation of business requirement.
  • Coordinate and handling of logistic and warehouse items in accordance to regulatory.
  • Implement operation policies, standards and procedures within the new department setup.
  • Work with allocated resources within business activities.
  • Perform activities to improve quality of logistic services within SEA and China site.
  • Track the shipment handling schedules to ensure timelines are met on each project set by end customers.
  • Support BU definition of their local logistics strategy and identify the current logistic services capability and gaps.
  • Manage Global Trade services on product classification such as ECCN and HS Code.
  • Review and negotiate contracts of the 3PLS logistic services companies.
  • Able to manage performance and build strong partnerships with 3PL’s to support strong business growth within local and Europe.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of import, export, customs regulations and international trade compliance and shipping procedures.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management team.
