  Position summary:
  Responsible for designing and developing a product/product family. Ensures production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel. Tests finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary.
  
  General purpose:
  You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define Process improvement.. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
  
  Position responsibilities:
  • Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.
  • Develop innovative product solutions.
  • Prepare samples for study.
  • Perform shrinkage and strength testing.
  • Collect, record, and transcribe data.
  • Develop and review product performance specifications.
  • Perform new color and raw material testing.
  • Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
  • Advise on corrective actions.
  • Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Ensure financial budgets are followed.
