    Summary of the Position:
    The Company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to market and sell PVD coating services to OEMs, end-users, and manufacturers. He/She will be responsible to manage and develop the company's sales strategies and achieving sales targets which will entail managing existing accounts and developing new business and applications in the cutting tool, mold and die, precision component, punching and forming segments. This position is also responsible to work closely with the appointed agents for the respective regions.

    This Regional Sales Manager’s compensation includes fixed pay and an attractive variable pay in the form of bonus and commission scheme for achieving the Company’s objectives and sales target.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for generating sales to existing and new accounts within Malaysia.
    • Accountable for achieving quota by generating leads, hunting new customers and growing existing relationships with the focus on the Semiconductor, automotive and Mold & Die sector
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the other Companies in the Group and other departments to increase customer lifetime value and ensure seamless sales operations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors/dealers/agents.
    • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Manage the sales budget and ensure profitability for the region.
    • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
    • Maintain relevant customer/account information using the CRM database.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • At least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Management or Engineering.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the Industrial/manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in the chemical industry, metalworking or precision engineering industries is considered a plus.
    • Ability to assimilate and understand technical information regarding coating technologies and sell on technical capabilities.
    • Diligent self-starter who is passionate about working with customers and solving their application challenges.
    • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
    • Strong Collaborative and communication Skills
    • Able to travel extensively within Malaysia
