Job Description
Description:
1. This is a position which offers large scope of self-improvement opportunities.
2. Designing and implementing noise acoustic equipment for marine, power plant, oil and gas and mining markets, ranging from Malaysia to Asia Pacific region
3. Identifying opportunities to reduce complexity, cost and weight.
4. Assisting sales team by presenting technical solutions to clients
5. This person will work closely with other Engineers on noise & vibration management
Job scopes:
1. Study the requirements of new projects and enquiries
2. Assist in designing and implementing equipment for marine, power plant, oil and gas and mining markets, especially for infrastructure.
3. Evaluate available data and possibly writing simple reports
4. Design 3D models using computer-aided-design (CAD) software, particularly Solidworks
5. Perform simulations (eg Flow simulations) using Solidworks
6. Discussing and solving problems with manufacturing department.
7. Assisting sales team by presenting technical solutions to customers.
8. Site visit to understand the technical requirement by the customers.
9. Ensure the project runs smoothly by managing resources around
10. Attend site meeting during the project execution.
Qualifications
Requirement
- Education Background : Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or any relevant field
- Experience : Freshie is welcome for this position
- Require Skill : Knowledge of metalworks & drawing (AutoCAD) understanding
- Knowledge of metalworks & drawing (AutoCAD) understanding
- Understand mechanical drawings and performance parameters
