  • Job Description

    • Develop suppliers per business requirement with cross functions
    • Negotiate with suppliers for master purchasing contract, Quality assurance contract, Non-disclosure agreement, consignment contract etc
    • Negotiate with suppliers for cost reduction based on cost analysis, demand, market data , push back cost increase from suppliers.
    • Drive cost reduction opportunity with engineering team, lead VA/VE projects
    • Lead quarterly supplier scorecard review to drive supplier performance improvement in quality, delivery, cost
    • Lead annual audit for key suppliers
    • Cooperate with quality team for supplier quality improvement and RMA issue
    • Support material team for supplier delivery pull in
    • Identifies risks, opportunities and lowest performing suppliers. Implement corrective action to mitigate risk and prevent/control emerging problems.
    • Set-up material master and info record in SAP
    • Do monthly procurement report to track and achieve the procurement KPI (Saving, Delivery, Quality, Supplier base optimization, LCL% etc. )
    • Handle ballpark, RFQ, supplier selection review for NPI projects & migration projects
    • Handle PR/PO of NPI tooling & sample, ensure supplier’s on-time delivery
    • Handle engineering change evaluation with engineering team
    • Follow up EC PR/PO/Sample qualification
    • Be responsible for supplier FAAR document preparation

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering discipline required
    - Experience :
    > 5+ years experience in sourcing area (Experience in Cable, Electronics, stamping, molding, tooling is preferred)
    > Engineering background is preferred
    > Familiar with office software, knowledge of ERP (SAP preferred
    > Good Knowledge of SAP PR/PO execution.
    > Demonstrated ability to perform cost/price analysis with total cost of ownership as objective.
    > Develop and execute contracts in compliance with TE requirements.
    > Facilitate development of strategy and identify risk and opportunities within scope. Assist Regional Commodity Manager in development of formal, documented commodity plan and track progress versus goals.
    > Responsible for meeting savings targets for assigned areas.
    > Lead and facilitate meetings with internal teams and suppliers. Conduct business reviews with Strategic Suppliers as required by company policy.
    > Assess new suppliers and determine suitability. Approve additions to the supply base.
    > Perform data mining and analysis and present reports in a clear and concise fashion.
    > Interface successfully with Business Unit and site personnel.
    > Demonstrate value and present to key stakeholders.

    - Skills:
    > Good knowledge of supply market, strategies, risks and opportunities within direct commodities.
    > Basic Knowledge on precision moulding, stamping, electronics, cable and understand plating technology.
    > Conduct regional RFQs and reverse auctions, analyse results, develop recommendations to Commodity Managers and internal customers.
    > Lead projects within assigned commodities as directed by the Regional Commodity Managers.
    > Utilize E-sourcing tools in execution of sourcing responsibilities
