  Job Scope:
  1. To assist the Head, Risk & Compliance in discharging his duties on Risk Management and Compliance functions.
  2. To strengthen Risk Management controls related to Information Technology. Technology Risk is defined as any potential adverse outcome, damage, loss, disruption, violation, irregularity or failure arising from the use of or reliance on computer hardware, software, electronic devices, online networks and telecommunications systems. 3. Assess effectiveness and efficiency of technology internal controls in accordance to regulatory expectations and best practices i.e. Risk Management in Technology (RMiT), Information Security, Data Security, Network Security & Cyber Security best practice (NIST framework). 4. Independently perform technology risk assessment, control identification & risks mitigation in line with best practices within Stockbroking and Fintech industry.
  5. To evaluate the performance of third party vendors’ system.
  6. To strengthen Risk Management controls related to Operational Risk which may impact the achievement of the company’s objectives resulting from inadequate internal processes and systems, human factors, or external events.
  7. To analyze, close gaps and mitigate risk of financial loss.
  8. Conduct relevant risk management and compliance trainings.
  9. Update risks related policies and procedures and risk limits.
  10. To support Domestic/potential Foreign Trading market for Risk & Compliance matters.
  11. Liaise with external parties including regulators such as Securities Commission Malaysia on Compliance and Risk Management matters when necessary.
