  • Job Description

    • Prepare quotations and process purchase orders received from customers
    • Handle and assist customers on their sales enquiries
    • Process claims arising from shipment delays, defective items, wrong pricing, etc.
    • Rectify part number errors, request lead time changes to suppliers
    • Liaise with Sales Team and Shipping Team on customers’ orders and delivery status
    • Liaise with Sales Team and Account Team over AR matters and suspension of account
    • Prepare Request For Quotation (RFQ) and generate Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers
    • Check inventory allocation status and on PO.
    • Liaise with internal Customer Service Team and Business Development Team on stock availability
    • Check lead-time, expedite deliveries by suppliers and update system in a timely manner
    • Liaise with various parties on cancellation, lead time and expedite request
    • Communicate delays and delivery changes to internal
    • Troubleshoot & resolve operational issue and implement preventive measures
    • Review work flow & purpose improvement to ensure smooth daily operation
    • Recording & accuracy of date kept for KPI reporting
    • Participate in CS projects
    • Cover operation duties when shorthand due to unforeseen circumstances
    • Provide training & guidance to team member or new hires

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    ★Misumi would prefer candidate with working experiences with trading company / manufacturing, know about quotation, order processing flow, payment terms & delivery terms.

    Requirements:
    Minimum SPM with credit in or Diploma in any discipline
    4-6 years relevant working experience
    Order processing, customer service or telemarketing experience preferred
    Service-oriented, good telephone etiquette and customer service skills
    Comfortable working in a high volume and fast pace environment
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
