    Company Details:
    This is a Business Centre of a famous Oil and Gas company.

    Location: Bangsar

    Job Scope:
     Ensure smooth delivery of robust MI processes that support delivery of GME performance review and ensure accuracy of data and deadlines are met.
     Support and perform month-end activities such as communicating rebates and Delivered Not Invoiced (DNI) accruals and Used Oil Analysis (UOA) reclassification to local Finance teams and computation of rebates for non-Customer to Business (C2B) countries
     Support Central Reporting team to reconcile, validate and analyse MI GL gaps for GME
     Ensure accurate and timely delivery of month end close for Japan GME business. This will include journal postings, reclassifications, accruals, reports preparation and reconciliation. Close coordination with business and GBS is required in investigating, understanding and explaining variances.
     Perform monthly, quarterly or other ad-hoc reviews on sales, P&L variances, due diligences and lead Balance Sheet Integrity reviews.
     Monthly consolidation for SLOB reporting and work closely with GBS Costing, Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Regional Demand teams on detailed SLOB reporting for operating planning purpose and assist in reducing SLOBs through inter-country transfers.
     Establishes, maintains and monitors effective and efficient financial controls and processes across the BU. This includes applying and monitoring Group Standards and MCE, understanding and monitoring all financial control related risks.
     Provide support for system related issues such as clearing of suspense invoices, regionalization and matching of purchase invoices.
     Perform SOD, CDD checks and mitigations; DoFA updates.
     Implement continuous improvement activities and proactively identify opportunities for process standardisation and alignment in a consistent manner across the business.
     Manage and develop strong relationship with all key stakeholders within GME Japan and rest of A&P countries.
     Manage, coach & mentor a team of 2 - 5 persons

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Requirements:
    - Language : N2 level Japanese
    - Education Background : Degree in Accounting and Finance. If not accounting and finance grad, must have proven accounting work experience
    - Experience : MUST 7 years of Financial accounting work experience. MUST have people management experience.
