SSM Corporate Registry System (CRS): System Reopening and Counter Service Updates
The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) will be implementing the Corporate Registry System (CRS) in phases as part of its system enhancement initiatives.
Following the reopening of MyCoID, e-Secretary, and SSM counter services, SSM has released a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to clarify important matters relating to statutory document submissions, filing deadlines, and late submission fee exemptions.
1. When will the Corporate Registry System (CRS) begin operation?
The Corporate Registry System (CRS) will be implemented in three phases.
For Phase 1, which involves the submission of statutory company documents, implementation is scheduled to begin on 14 July 2026
2. When will MyCoID and e-Secretary reopen, since CRS was not implemented on 30 June 2026?
Although CRS was not implemented on 30 June 2026, MyCoID and e-Secretary services were reopened on 30 June 2026 at 3:00 PM.
3. Can statutory company documents be submitted through SSM counters since CRS was not implemented on 30 June 2026?
Yes. The SSM counter services reopened on 30 June 2026 at 3:00 PM, allowing the submission of statutory company documents through the counter service.
4. Will SSM provide an exemption from late submission fees for transactions through MyCoID during the system closure period?
Yes. SSM will provide an exemption from late submission fees for documents that were required to be submitted during the MyCoID system closure period from 20 June 2026 to 30 June 2026.
5. Will SSM provide an exemption from late submission fees for statutory company documents submitted through counters?
