• Job Description

  Company Profile: One of the largest and most modern rare earths separation plants in the world. They are doing the process of concentrating and producing separated Rare Earths Oxide (REO) products for sale to customers in locations including Japan, Europe, China and North America.
  
  Location: Kawasan Gebang , Kuantan.
  
  Job Responsibilities:
  <Technical Support to Sales>
  • Define Customers Specifications:
  o Collect & Discuss customers’ requirements
  o Evaluate with Lab, Lynas capability to measure
  o Evaluate with Process, Lynas capability to produce including setting up necessary controls on process parameters and raw materials (including water)
  o Present to QPPI for customer spec final approval
  
  <Quality Performance>
  • Manage Customers’ complaints
  o Register complaints and acknowledge to customer (D+1)
  o Communicate to customer preliminary investigation (D+3)
  o Lead investigation
  o Finalize report, communicate to customer, register CARs.
  o Present to QPPI for closing
  • Report Quality Performance KPIs related to QPPI, biweekly and animate the meeting in the absence of S&M VP.
  • Animate specific multidisciplinary task forces aiming at improving company overall quality performance (example: production batching, tracing, weighting including IT, Finance, Production, Process, Sales)
  
  <Product Improvement>
  • Understand customers’ process and suggest ways to improve overall performance through Lynas product customisation.
  • Coordinate qualification process:
  o QC Alignment
  o Sampling
  o Customer feedback
  o Selective shipments
  • Elaborate needed requirements for new customers/new applications.
  o Communicate directly with agents and customers
  o Study with Process and Lab needed modifications for Lynas to be able to grab this new opportunity
  o Present to QPPI for decision
  
  <Innovation>
  • Identify possible new applications for our products:
  o Have a deep understanding of RE product fundamental properties
  o Establish a network of relevant players in the field of material science and end users
  • Select and interface with most effective R&D/Company able to support this application
  • Define the necessary specification for the product to be delivered by Lynas
  • Evaluate the development plan and monitor until final qualification
