  • Job Description

    based in showroom located in Mid Valley Mega Mall.
    He/She must have the ability to lead and coach a team in achieving the targets for the branch while ensuing a smooth operation (display, staffing, stocking, collection, reporting, etc).
    Take proactive action and results oriented. Strong planning, organising and managing promotional events, communication, selling and customers service skills are required.

    Sales Management : Generate potential customers, promote and sell products
    Achieve branch and personal monthly and yearly sales target.
    Organise promotional activities and materials to increase customers touch point and to generate new potential customers.
    Monitor sales prospects and overcome customers objections.
    Stock replenishment and ordering.
    Recommend to superiors competitive pricings on obsolete models, slow moving, aging and/or products in 'less than acceptable (poor)' conditions.
    Monitoring of staff performance, incentive and reimbursement claims
    Update sales status and take proactive action in achieving sales target.
    Follow through on delivery to customers eg update goggle calendar, perform post sales service, etc.

    Retail Management and Operation
    Ensure all instruments and/or equipment on display are clean and in good condition and order (well managed POP materials and price tags)
    Take proactive action on Stock control, collections, banking process and other operational matters.
    Conduct internal audit on processes and regular stock take.
    General housekeeping. Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of the showroom and store room, if any.
    Adhere to documentations and prepare proposals on Advertising & Promotion activities
    Regular Feedback and communication with superior/s.
    Timely reporting and presentation on sales, stock variance, human resource matters, etc.
    Ensuring sufficient and efficient staffing and scheduling of staff roster.
    Stand-in for emergency/ adhoc duties due to staff absentees and/or shortage of manpower.
    Monitoring of branch expenses.
    Actively supports Company and total retail activities and events.

    Coaching, training and monitoring of staff career development
    Conduct regular sales meeting/briefing, coaching and monitoring.
    Evaluate staff performance to lead, motivate and inspire towards goals.
    To train / propose suitable training programme

    Business development
    Feedback and report to superior on market situation.
    Update and share with the sales team on competitors oroducts new technology / information.
    Identify business opportunities and potential customers

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Language: Chinese, English and Malay
    Education Minimum Diploma in Sales or Marketing with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English
    Experience: Min. 3 years at Supervisory Level in sales environment
    Min. 5 years of experience in sales
    Min. 3 years at Supervisory Level in sales environment
    Minimum Diploma in Sales or Marketing with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English
    Preferably with interests in music
