• 仕事内容

  ■ Production Planning & Progress Management:
  ・Formulating mid-to-long-term and daily production plans (Master Production Schedule) based on demand forecasts and firm orders.
  ・Monitoring the operational status of multiple lines with a workforce of approximately 400 dynamic staff, resolving bottlenecks, and responding swiftly to sudden plan changes.
  
  ■ Supply Chain & Material Management (Procurement & Inventory Optimization):
  ・Calculating material requirements (MRP operation) for electronic components and raw materials, and coordinating delivery schedules with the procurement department and suppliers.
  ・Managing appropriate levels of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory, with a strong focus on reducing excess inventory to improve cash flow.
  
  ■ Shipping & Logistics Management:
  ・Controlling shipments to ensure on-time delivery (including JIT delivery) to both domestic and international customers.
  ・Coordinating with logistics providers, handling trade affairs, and driving cost reduction initiatives.
  
  ■ Management & Organizational Development:
  ・Managing, evaluating, and supporting the skill development of the production control department (planners, progress controllers, warehouse staff, etc.).
  ・Fostering smooth communication and building strong relationships of trust with local staff.
  
  ■ Data Analysis & Process Improvement:
  ・Managing KPIs such as production performance, On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates, and inventory turnover, and reporting results to the board of directors and the Japan headquarters.
  ・Leading operational improvements for production control systems (ERP/MRP) and driving workflow efficiencies (such as DX initiatives).
