Responsibilities• Continue to improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.• Analyze, investigate and solve manufacturing process issues. Follow up and troubleshoot together with line technicians, if found any abnormality.• Responsible for verification and given the green light for the line to run after dumping.• Responsible for the defective reel disposition :a) Analyze, verify and reply the NCIR issued by QA and Line Leader.b) Re-sampling the defective reel for analysis and disposition.c) Develop the rework or sorting standard.• Work with QA on product quality related matter (especially customer feedback).• Rotating weekend production line support (Production line related issue or run plating line.)• Plan and coordinate for plating production schedule, material and manpower.• Committed to produce quality product, reduce production waste and maintain 5S at production floor.• Communication of latest information such as customer feedback/ rejection/ new implementation, etc to the production staff.• Responsible for new process and new product trial run.• Lead continuous improvement projects such as cost reduction, quality and productivity improvement (increase product yield/ reduce scrap).• Establish training documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI), Plating Process Specification (PPS) and One Point Lesson (OPL).• To educate and train production technician and operator in following proper manufacturing procedure.• Manage production staff discipline & interpersonal issue.• To handle other tasks and duties when requested by superior.Authorities• Stop line when quality related issue occurred.• Update and revise Plating Process Specification (PPS), machine checklist, parameter setting in plating process.• Scheduling production running based on Planner plan.• To approve subordinate’s leave, shift arrangement and OT.• Review and approve subordinates’ performance i.e. confirmation, extension, promotion.

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for PCBA/SMT lines, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.• Design and implement efficient production layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and reduce waste.• Analyze and improve line balancing, production cycles, and material flow to ensure smooth operations.• Perform lead time analysis, motion studies and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement and maximize equipment utilization.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to drive continuous process improvements.• Monitor and analyze production data, providing insights to improve throughput, yield, and operational efficiency.• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.• Support the setup and launch of production lines in the facility, working closely with the equipment and production teams.• Complete a costing calculation (customer RFQ) within the time frame. Coordinate and review RFQ costing to ensure pricings are competitive and profitable. • Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and overhead associated with projects or products. • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager.
