Section Mission:Expanding “Panasonic Centralized contract center policies”, Panasonic factories in APAC & India in order to practice procurement activities at “One Panasonic level” for raw materials and maximize Cost Reduction by utilizing Centralized Contract scheme, thus “contribute to Business Division”.Basic Functions:1. Raw material contract job for Panasonic factories in APAC & India2. Contracted price sharing to Panasonic factory in Asia + India.3. Develop Cost Reduction (share allocation) strategy and execute it4. Quarterly cost negotiation with resin/Paper suppliers (with related members)5. Make VE proposal and joint study with R&D for factories in APAC & India.Accountability:1. Cost reduction amount and ratio.2. VE proposal and implementation.3. Centralized Contract expansion for suppliers and Panasonic factoriesJob Responsibilities:1. CR:a) Develop order policy for APAC & India together with Centralized Contract Center and other related organizations by collecting requirements/demand from R&D / factories and proposals / quotations from suppliers in Asia + India and reviewing global information from others.b) Analyze total delivery costs in detail.c) Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD.2. VE:a) propose alternative supplier which meets QCD requirements or propose alternative material based on benchmark study,b) review with R&D and factories for joint direction,c) Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD3. Common:- Learn Panasonic Centralized Contract scheme and organization.- Understand Panasonic R&D and factory requirements / demand.- Communication / Customer satisfaction: Listen to factory key players’ voice and/or review data to find opportunities for improvement, set mutual agreeable targets and accomplish them.- Achieve team’s KPI’s for CD/ VE annual target.- Prepare various management reports.
