  The Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) is responsible for defining, developing, and validating manufacturing processes to successfully introduce new/transfer products into mass production. This role ensures processes are robust, efficient, and compliant with quality requirements by working closely with cross-functional teams from product design to production ramp-up.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  1. Feasibility & manufacturability support
  - Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturing) activities.
  - Participate in drawing and design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability.
  - Evaluate and confirm inspection feasibility; define required measurement tools and methods.
  
  2. Process planning & definition
  - Define and document end-to-end process flows for new products.
  - Identify and specify necessary equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
  - Set and validate process cycle time requirements to meet capacity targets.
  
  3. Process documentation & systems
  - Create Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA and Work Instructions.
  - Ensure process documentation is approved and ready before pilot builds.
  - Revise/update process documentation after pilot build with lesson learnt.
  - Create and maintain process routings and BOM data in ERP systems (e.g., AX).
  
  4. Pilot build & line validation
  - Support pilot, pre-production, and qualification builds in production floor.
  - Validate actual process cycle time, study gap against planned requirements.
  - Validate process stability and capability to achieve required first pass yield.
  - Analyze build data to identify process gaps or failure modes.
  - Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  - Perform drop test to validate packaging design.
