  • Supervise the material planning team
  • Ensure on time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential problems. Anticipate and communicate any material shortage immediately.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal departments/ external parties to confirm production/ shipping schedule
  • Analyze Material Requirement Planning (MRP) action messages and associated tools to ensure the raw materials/components availability
  • Ensure optimal inventory level based on sales forecast projection, demand variation, company strategies, supplier capability and material lead times
  • Provide component forecast information to intercompany/ supplier if needed
  • Manage and maintain manufacturing and purchase orders cycle and process flow
  • Process and compile the purchase order documentation like Invoices for payment procedure
  • Support and follow up on replacement/ rejection issue claimed by QC/ Production/ Engineering Department with supplier
  • Maintains manual and computerized order records, such as enquiries, purchase order, order confirmation, delivery note, invoices and manufacturing order
  • Perform additional tasks upon request by the Management/ Superior
