  • Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
  • Develop innovative solutions
  • Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
  • Prepare samples for study
  • Collect, record and transcribe data
  • Show results in reports
  • Maintain testing equipment
  • Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process
  • Provide suggestions during incident investigations
  • Advise on corrective actions
  • Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers/suppliers to develop a cost- effective and working production process
  • Ensure projects are completed on time
  • Ensure financial budgets are followed
  • Research and purchase new manufacturing technology
  • Mirror processes that are consistent with the process in the lead-plant for products
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer and Production Coordinator to evaluate all customer issues and respond accurately and concisely to the customer
  • Evaluate internal defect and downtime information to form appropriate plans of improvement
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer and Production Coordinator to review and approve operating, set up and inspection instructions and verification documents
  • Support product/process change activities through Change Management system
  • Assist with shop floor activities (changeovers, equipment breakdown resolution) that arise from or are causing and adverse supply condition towards the customer
  • Provide support to production and others section for safe and efficient operation
