  • 仕事内容

    - Report to NOC Manager
    - Provide second level communications, monitoring, support, diagnosis, resolution and coordination with internal and external groups, utilizing multiple various network monitoring tools to ensure the viability of the service provider network, while responding to a variety of manage internet service issues
    - The primary responsibility of the NOC Engineer is to proactively monitor, support and escalate application, system, and network incidents to ensure maximum availability and performance
    - To responsible of Mykris Hybrid Infra POP/DC (PE&CE) portion in terms of planing,design and upgrade
    - To Implement and maintain IP core, load balancing, various routing, switching, firewalls and QOS
    - To perform proactively monitoring and checking for overall network performance. Must resolve and recover within 4 hours for DC, POPS and Premium customer with assistant by Level 2 Engineer if required
    - To own authority of SR ticket and make sure ticket response time and follow up to meet SOP among Internal engineering team, customer and Sales
    - Work effectively to follow up within two hours time frame regard the case in terms of Data WAN connection (application, VC and Voice) if required attend onsite to perform to carry out the job. Estimation time is 4 hours resolve time (premium) if the issue from Mykris connection
    - To prepare well documentation every Pop/customer site Photo, design and etc to make sure 100% completed based on Check list
    - Perform checking for network equipment testing, NMS DB/POP Log/Checklist/IP update accordingly to make sure all the system running as clean and optimum level
    - To Meet Customer SLA and generate details report monthly basis for Mservice customer
    - Spare unit and stock are minimum quantity at emergency NOC stock place
    - To practice always discipline and can do attitude to make strong culture committed to produce quality result and well-designed engineering processes
    - To participate R&D for new technology with Level 2 engineer
    - Every six months to carry out internal audit with level 2 engineer/supervisor/Team Lead verified by Manager

    - Language : Chinese, Malay, English
    - Education Background : Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/ Technology, Communications Management, Network Operations/ Management, Network Security
    - Experience : 2 years of related job experience
    - Require skills :
    > OSI network Model, Basic Understanding (Vlan, Trunk, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, routing)
    > OSI, WAN, IP, OSPF and VPN
    > Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and OSI
    > Understanding of switch, routing,firewall, policy for service provider and enterprise network
    > Familiarity with various Cisco routers/switches, Mikrrotik and Peplink
    > To famliar Monitor Tools such as PRTG, WUG, NETFLOW, INCONTROL and DUDE
    > Familiarity with the following protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, UDP, TCP/IP and SSH.
    - Certificate : CCNA/MTCNA/CCNP/JNCIA certification and desired
    - Age : 28 ~ 38
    - Others :
    > Can do, well disciplined and Multi tasking
    > Ability to work a flexible schedule (day, evening and/or night shift till 11 pm) operations area with minimal supervision
    > Strong client support orientation. This role has a technical element to it, but the primary focus is on client satisfaction
    > Innovate to automate routine tasks and spot long-term trends in service provider environment

    <Working Hour>

    Five (5) days a week

    - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (1 hour break)
    - 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (1 hour break)
    - 2.00 pm to 11.00 pm (1 hour break)
    - 4.00 pm to 1.00 am (1 hour break)

    There is RM 150 per week for standby after 11 pm. Standby is on rotating basis.
