It is a major logistics company in Japan providing a wide range of service including International Freight Forwarding, Custom Clearance, for both Air & Sea Cargo, Inland Transportation, Warehousing, Packaging & Installation of Heavy Cargo. Wide area networks covering China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, and etc. Malaysia office is established since 1986, nice working environment with nice management

  Job description/ scope:
  * Responsible to perform all jobs efficiently and effectively to meet and/or exceed customer satisfaction
  * To understand all operation job deeply including company accounts systems. And to be able to back up operation staff in case of urgent/special cases
  * To monitor staff's works and shipments. To be aware of all the problems and issues which operation team have. Give appropriate solutions
  and solve them
  * shall conduct meeting with operations team on planning and development of manpower, operations matter and job methods
  * Awareness to respond on a timely manner on import and export regulations, chemicals/hazardous related items, incoterms 2010,
  Environment, Health and safety, warehousing, freight and shipping
  * Manage and motivate employee discipline
  * To plan, develop, implement and maintenance of processes & procedures within the organization related to logistics operation to meet
  internal and external customers requirement in most- effective manner
  * Liaising with customers on concerns and complaints
  * Identifying training and retraining needs of employees
  * Ensuring the company policy and objective are understood among the subordinates, manage, coach and develop new and current staff as well as monitoring their performance and progression
  * To manage key supplier performance including cost, delivery & quality
  * To negotiate with 3rd party logistics service providers including warehouses, shipping lines, contractors, sub contractors and carriers on
  rates and conditions for the benefit of the company
  * Coordination with customers, agent and suppliers
  * Posses strong analytical skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution/solving
  * To consult and negotiate with authorities (MITI/MIDA/Custom) or any other agencies for necessary procedure, license and benefit scheme
  * Prepare the annual budget and forecasts as required
  * Prepare competitive quotation and meeting deadlines set by relevant parties
  * Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time from supervisor
