  Company Introduction: Establish in 1949, More than 50 countries with 200 operating location and one of manufacturing's industrial packaging products and service based in Malaysia. They are producing plastic, fibre, flexible and corregated containers, steel, containers and packaging accessories for a wide range of industries.
  
  Locations: Section 51, Petaling Jaya
  
  Job Descriptions:
  Management system:
  - Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety Policy and Local Health and Safety legislation
  - Develop, maintain the Health and Safety management system.
  - Develop and monitor any tracking system to support the management system and improvement
  - Review annually the complete management system
  - Report monthly to the Senior and Plant managers on the year to date situation on safety using statistics form CMS and making comments/ recommendations
  - Maintain a strong knowledge of legislative changes that are upcoming in order to pro-actively update the management system and inform the senior and the local management.
  
  Plant activities :
  - Be pro-active in promoting a positive safety culture and build awareness among the workforce, in accordance with both local legislation and Health and Safety requirements
  - Ensure the enforcement of the Health and Safety programs. These should include the following(but not limited to)
  o Hazard assessment (RA) and Personal Protective equipment
  o Exposure Control program (Bloodborne Pathogens)
  o Chemical safety
  o Lockout / Tagout (LoTo)
  o Confined spaces entry
  o Emergency Plan
  o Fire Prevention and Fire drills
  o Behavior base Observations
  o Management of change
  - Carry out or organize regular workplace safety audits and risk assessments for the continual monitoring of compliance required under the local legislation and requirements, ensuring that any remedial recommendations are implemented
  - Conduct periodic health and Safety walk-through inspections and observations (BBO) of all workplaces.
  - Keep up to date on equipment or process changes ensuring that safety precautions are being taken into account: Management of Change
  - Initiate and Involve on ergonomic study on workplace station.
  - Involve on the Safety committee: active member and ensuring that its duties and responsibilities are carried out.
  Safety training :
  - Manage the safety training program: authorization, driving license, etc. ... and is in charge of the maintenance of the tracking system.
  - Deliver the training to new employees (excluding temporary) (Safety presentation, factory visit and knowledge assessment).
  
  Accountability :
  - Manage investigation and reporting of Health and Safety incidents and hazard assessments
  - Inform the Plant manager of any hazardous situation.
  - Follow the Incident and Investigation procedure to report incidents at all levels and to report on CMS (Intranet based communications)
  -Track the implementation of all safety corrective measures. Inform senior management in case of any deviation from the plant level.
