• Job Description

  - Report to Technical Leader
  - Assisting leader to oversee the daily operation in lab as well as processing site
  - Responsible for the design and development of equipment / devices / machinery meant for testing as well as polymer processing
  - Responsible for the process optimization in scale up engineering
  - Responsible in daily operation of laboratory activities and laboratory management system in compliance to MS ISO / IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
  - Responsible for the lab test services to Quality Dept, Production Dept, Sister Companies & external parties, etc.
  * provide failure analysis and sample testing to external parties as well as own sister companies
  - Responsible for the management of lab which include the calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and processing machinery
  - Assist in carrying out short term development projects
  - To handle validation and verification of test methods
  - To carry out inter-­laboratory comparison studies
  - To ensure competency of Assistant Chemist / Lab Technician / Assistant Engineer with assigned test method and procedures
  - Participate in internal audits and inspections
  - Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time
