    Company Introduction: A subsidiary of a famous Japanese group company, established in 1994. Over 2 decades period of time, they have successfully developed their own branding which focused on the trading of merchandise such as fashions, processed packaging foods, household equipment and healthcare products. In addition, they have also caught the attention of end-user and achieved high customer loyalty on their brand. They believed that creating things that suit the end-users needs and culture will foster higher engagement with their brand.

    Location:
    Subang Jaya (SS16), 3 minutes walking distance to nearby KTM Komuter station.

    Job Scopes & Organizational Structure:
    There are 3 sections in Sales department, Food Line, Clothing Line and Household Goods Section. This job position is designed to work under in Clothing section.

    - Translate the information / label detail of the goods imported from Japan.
    - Acts as the window person to coordinate import & export of goods from Japan.
    - Also, responsible for sales & marketing (liaise with external party) & planning of new products development.
    - Handling Sales Project & Proposal of new merchandise to Supermarket.
    - Marketing strategy planning including to study the market trend, identify Potential Product, Product Analysis - Preliminary & Market Feasibility Study, Product Conceptualization & Positioning, Develop Product Unique Selling Point (USP) & Differentiation.
    - Development of new products include sourcing for OEM, factory visit, Supplier Handling & Price Negotiation, project timeline control.
    ***Business trip to Japan to attend some exhibitions. (Approximately once per two months)
    Will be designed under supervision of (Japanese MD/Senior Manager/Manager) based on experiences.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Requirements:
    -Proficient in Japanese AND English (Japanese is a must)
    -Preferable work experience related to Import & Export (Trading) / apparel or Fashion accessories industry
    -Available to business trip within Malaysia (average once a week)
    -Possess own transport
