  • Job Description

    • Responsible for the overall business of Casio Projectors in Malaysia.
    • Initiate and develop business strategies and plans through working closely with appointed distributor to increase the market share.
    • Conceptualize, plan and execute marketing and sales promotion activities in collaboration with distributor/dealers (e.g. end-user promotions, salesmen incentive, etc.)
    • Explore opportunities to venture into government and private institutions or organizations to introduce Casio Projectors through new initiatives (e.g. trade shows, workshops, seminars, etc.)
    • Manage distributor and builds positive relationships with key dealers and grow the business.
    • Keep up to date on market situation, visit dealers regularly to collect market intelligence through market research and competitor analysis.
    • Analyse and submit PSI monthly report from distributor and other ad-hoc reports to Casio Singapore and Japan Headquarters.
    • Ensures prompt follow through on projects and key deliverable to meet Purchase, Sales & Inventory (PSI) targets.
    • Analyse the effectiveness of projects and contributions to overall business strategy.
    • Any other ad-hoc tasks from local MD and Singapore regional headquarters.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Language: Chinese, English and Malay
    Education Background: • Degree in business, Sales or Marketing or related disciplines.
    Experience:
    • At least 8-10 years relevant Sales and Marketing experience at strategic/country level, preferably for mid to high range data projector.
    • At least 3 years supervisory experience leading or managing a team.
    • Candidates not from projector business but involved in IT or related business solutions may also be considered.
    • Good experience in distributor and dealers management.
    • Familiar with Government and B2B sales channels and mechanism.
    • Good knowledge of distribution process including import/customs procedures, distribution channel, government tender regulations, etc.
    • Prior experience in planning and executing sales & marketing activities with distributors preferred.
    • Prior experience or exposure working with foreign countries/companies and suppliers will be advantageous.
