  • Job Description

    70% Project Deployment Work
    - Support project in a technical role by supporting various systems
    - Part of team responsible for updating computers, avionic systems, visual and various other systems on flight simulators
    - Often travel to customer sites to aid in project deployment and correctly deploy software/hardware systems
    - Often the main point of contact of system specialists in Montreal in debugging issues
    - Can be involved in the qualification and QTG package generation of the flight simulator
    - Give accurate feedback to customers
    - Solid expertise in on or two main simulation systems and developing skills in a further one or two systems
    - Show good autonomous working style and dependability with minimum oversight

    30% SPR Clearance
    - work on variety of software issues, snags, SPRs
    - Interact through sim-issues and ensure ECDs and RBDs are met
    - Often travel the main point of contact of system specialists in Montreal in debugging issues
    - Support AOG Situations in their region and travel a short notice
    - Give accurate feedback to Customers

    Mentoring
    - able to pass knowledge and skills to more junior staff
    - show some leadership on site and take good ownership of work

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Language: English
    Education Background: Degree Holder in Engineering ( Software and Computer)
    Experience: 2-5 Years related experience
    Require skills:
    - Excellent software/computer background including hardware and software integration
    - Knowledge in Progamming C++ , Java
    - Knowledge in Fortran is an asset
    Certificate: N/A
    Age: 28 - 45
    Gender: Open
    Others:
    - Good communication and feedback skills
    - Good knowledge of Aerospace business and flight training business is recommended
    - Good Customer relations skills
    - Good Team leadership skills
    - Good Problem solving methodology
    - Good time management
    - Potential for growth to mentor other FSUs
    - Good prioritization and organization skills
