  Location: Bukit Minyak, Simpang Ampat
  
  Job Responsibilities:
  • Understands customer requirements and provides the proposal based on an optimal automation solution
  • Design custom automation equipment from concept generation to completion.
  • To liaise with customer for clarifications and obtain further information.
  • To develop the concept for the automation machine/system, and works closely with mechanical / control system engineer in achieving this.
  • To create the concept layout using SolidWorks or DraftSight.
  • To liaise with suppliers in the quoting process, where necessary.
  • To prepare total costs estimation for material and labour hours as required for the offering.
  • To prepare the technical paper for the proposal using Microsoft Word.
  • To review all aspects of the proposal with internal team and sales personnel.
  • Travels to customer’s site with Sales personnel for the presentation of the proposal when is necessary.
  • To prepare information required for the pass down to the project team when the project is awarded.
  • To provide technical support to the project team when is necessary.
  • Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.
  • Be aware of the needs and expectation of interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.
  • Completes special projects/proposals/improvements as requested.
