  • Job Description

    <Job Summary>
    Assist Head of Section in managing and administrating the section in matters pertaining to Production Improvement, Training & Development, Safety & Health and any other jobs or taks as and wehn required by the Head of Section.

    <Duties & Responsibilities>
    1. General
    - Administrating and supervising a group of subordinates.
    - Supervising and ensuring adequate manpower running the production or operation.
    - Ensuring every subordinates abide by company policies, rules and regulations and etc.
    - Implementing and executing company activities related to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, Safety & Health etc.
    - Analyzing, organizing, coordinating and delegating jobs to the respective subordinates.
    - Executing and implementing instructions given by immediate superior.

    2. Responsibilities
    - Make schedule or plan for new operator of basic training, qualify operator training and production staff training program.
    - Make improvement for increasing productivity or quality.
    - Provide work instruction sheet (technical support) to the production lin in new machine set-up, model trial run and follow up action.
    - Ensure good working environment (good layout at working areas)
    - Manage and administer new product or parts trial.
    - Educate and train new and senior staff related to technical aspects.
    - Manage and administer data collected and analyze the achievement of training program performance.
    - Liaise with suppliers in purchasing new tools or machine repair works.

    3. Record & Report
    - Reports of production improvement activity and etc.

    4. Interaction
    - Interact with all levels of employees in the department and throughout the company.

    5. Authority
    - Accountable to all operation process in the section.
    - Authorize to make approval recommendation to Department Head pertaining to staff application on annual lieave, time-off and etc.
    - Authorize to recommend action to Department Head on staff disciplinary matters.
    - Authorize to access sectional and departmental confidential documents.
    - Authorize to conduct performance evaluation on subordinates for confirmation of cmployments, annual increment and bonus.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

    - Experience : Over 3 years of manufacturing background.

    - Require Skill :
    > Japanese speaking and writing skill
    > Able to use Solid Work 3D Drawing
    > Able to use Ms. Office applications
    == Advantage ==
    > Able to read and understand Technical Drawing
    > Able to design jigs, calculate Standard Time (ST), help to develop New Model Transfer
    > Knowledgeable with Electrical schematic and drawing would be an added advantage

    - Others : Candidates must be willing to work in Senai, possess a valid driving license.
