    Overview
    • Lead the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance indicators (KPIs). Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the most optimum cost. Collaborate with other professionals both inside and outside the organization to ensure supply chain activities run smoothly and improving supply chain processes where necessary.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Direct and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
    • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain management by reviewing current methodology and processes. Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
    • Coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and suppliers needed to meet the changing levels of product demand. Collaborate with commodity teams to deliver effective procurements through execution of commodity
    strategies, favorable contracts, and long-term agreements.
    • Lead logistics and warehouse team to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers, and monitor and correct inventory levels at warehouses (including VMI/CMI) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize
    working capital.
    • Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
    • Create effective dashboards to manage KPIs.
    • Work with system developer to set-up new forecast module. Coordinate with plant representatives to implement the change, and provide accurate data in budget, forecast, actual $.
    • Perform forecast vs site capacity analysis and align demand with internal stakeholders and customer.
    • Support proper utilization of ERP system and be the owner to set-up customer system, for example, SupplyOn.
    • Be the point of escalation for both internal and external. Handling customer escalations, which includes providing daily delivery schedule/file, setup system for tracking/reporting per customer requirements, issuing Force Majeure letter to customer if applies.
    • Lead the discussion with customer for inventory liability and additional cost involved to fulfil customer order.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Bachelors or University Degree of supply chain management, logistics, business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
    - Experience : Min 8-12 years of related experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience. Proven experience managing supply chain operations. Experience using supply chain management software and tools. Previous experience with Supply Chain Management is essential

    - Require Skill :
    1. Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
    2. Great understanding of automotive industry, and well versed in injection molding process.
    3. Strong analytical and project management skills.
    4. Strategic thinker and implementer of strategical plans.
    5. Passionate communicator and team player with strong leadership skills.
    6. Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development and compliance.
    7. Must be proficient in English, ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint. Power BI, macro and/or other analytical skills will be an added advantage.
