  • Job Description

    <Job Summary>
    - Business reporting to management and Head Office.
    - To control and manage all finance functions including daily operations of the Finance Department with integrity and also ensuring that data processed are in compliance with company policies, procedures, local FRS and JSOX, and to produce reliable financial and management reports.

    <Key Accountabilities>
    >> Financial and Management Reports
    - Preparation of financial reports for management's review of the monthly group's results, annual budget & quarterly forecasts, and to prepare business presentation to management.
    - Responsible for delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports, including ECAS.
    - Responsible for delivery of timely and accurate audited statutory financial report.

    >> Daily Operation of Finance Department
    - Manage and oversee daily operations of Finance department including
    -- Mont-end and year-end process
    -- Accounts payable and receivable
    -- Cash payments and receipts
    -- General ledger

    >> Asset Management
    - Responsible for safeguarding of company's assets for
    -- Fixed assets
    -- Inventory
    -- Non-inventory material (NLAG)

    >> Treasury and Credit Management
    - Responsible for management treasury and credit functions for the region, to ensure
    -- sufficient liquidity fund for operational needs and timely settlement of due liabilities for the region.
    -- Minimize exposure of credit risk in the region.

    >> Budgeting and Forecast (BP/FC)
    - Responsible for timely and accurate submission of BP/FC reports based on data provided by respective stake stakeholders.

    >> Tax Compliance
    - Ensure company complies to Government tax regulations for
    -- Corporate Tax
    -- Goods & Service Tax
    -- Withholding Tax
    -- Transfer Pricing

    >> Finance Policies
    - Establish and enforce Company's Finance policies that are in accordance with group companies.

    >> Admin, Ad-hoc Projects
    - Initiate process improvement to enhance administrative and operation.
    - Participate and support any ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background: Minimum Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or Business

    - Experience: At least 10 years of relevant working experience with 5 years performing a supervisory role.

    - Skills:
    -- Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint with exposure in Business Reporting system preferred.
    -- Good taxation knowledge.

    - Certification: Professional accounting qualification - CPA, CA

    - Others:
    -- Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting.
    -- Proficient in managing a team of finance & accounting personnel.
    -- Lead business partnering and collaboration with various stakeholders.
    -- Good project management skillset.
    -- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    -- Good business acumen for problem solving.
    -- Good interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
    -- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
    -- Highly proactive and motivated.
