    <About the role>

    We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team, to head up our customer engagement in the area of transmission (Grid). The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for their customer base of utility companies, EPC players, industrial and renewable clients across Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Cambodia. This position is for an initial period of two years, with the potential to go permanent based on the success of the individual in building our market presence.
    The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for key customer accounts assigned to them, for all equipment and spare part sales, maintenance service sales and engineering service sales related to transmission products (GIS, AIS, Power Transformer, BESS)

    <Key Responsibilities>
    • Setting Budget and Mid Term plans with strategies to achieve.
    • Foster relationships with customers at all levels and entering information into the customer database.
    • Collaborating with colleagues in relation to technical solutions for customer requests including technical specifications and drawings.
    • Develop and execute a strategy for key opportunities.
    • Business development for company and their subsidiaries.
    • To identify and generate potential sales opportunities to maximize revenue, minimize risk and extend product offerings.
    • Assist and support the tendering process, including preparation of technical content, cost compilations, establishing new customer contacts, gathering market intelligence and implementing sales and marketing strategies to grow the business.
    • Support the activities of other group company energy departments and assist in Global Service development.
    • Maintain a high degree of product knowledge within product and related areas.
    • Requires to travel to customer and/or vendor sites.
    • This role requires to work closely with others group company across the Grid Division.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background: Recognized Business Degree preferably in Engineering & Business.
    - Experience:
    > Over 10 years of working experience in power transmission industry
    > Over 8 years in Grid
    - Skills:
    > Strong relationship with main utilities, understand the development plans of the utilities in the region. Knowing key players in the industry.
    > Experience in targeted countries is added advantage.
    > Demonstrated ability to initiate and grow customer relationships
    - Others:
    > Team oriented, effective interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), rapport-building skills, positive, flexible, resilient, organized, willing to ‘push up their sleeves’, focused, results-driven, sense of humor and a willingness to learn/develop.
    > Energetic and passion about sales.

Additional Information

  • Benefit

    Salary = RM 10,000 ~ RM 20,000

    ** 2 years contract initially, converted to permanent position after 2 years.
    ** However, entitlement of benefits (AL, insurance and etc.) is equivalent with permanent staff.
