• Job Description

  Overview:
  The Hardware Engineer will lead and design the electronic hardware of a height adjustable desk system such as: motor controller, power supply, hand switch, etc. The engineer will also collaborate with other engineers to develop semi-automated jigs and check gauges for the production floor.
  
  Roles And Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, and develop system based on the requirements of the electrical/electronic specification
  • Develop and validate electronic design with detailed data and simulation reports
  • Develop PCB layout with consideration of thermal and environmental requirement
  • Create and maintain BOMs of the new designs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (schematics, specifications, reports, preventative maintenance)
  • Source new electronic parts, and develop lifecycle planning by considering obsolescence, availability, and cost
  • Perform and evaluate costing studies meeting the costing targets
  • Liaise with vendors and a cross functional team to produce prototypes
  • Conduct design verification, validation and documentation including safety, EMC, and compliance
  • Perform design FMEA to reduce risks of performance failures
  • Collaborate with internal engineers to develop semi-automated Jigs and checking gauges
  • Release new products based on new project ideas and roadmaps
