• Job Description

  An integrated plantation group, with sizable operations in oil palm plantation, palm oil milling and palm kernel crushing and other downstream activities within Peninsular Malaysia, is looking to immediately fill the Marketing Executive position.
  Job Description:
  • Reports to the Marketing Manager/Director of the company
  • Able to work together with and manage a team of Marketing/Operation Executives/Clerks
  • To handle and respond to any product enquiries from existing or new customers
  • To engage in active price discussion/negotiation in order to achieve successful sales to customers
  • Continuously try to identify new customers and markets for the company’s products
  • Conduct regular analysis of market developments/price trends in order to propose the best timing/pricing for products sales
  • Possess good knowledge of international shipping and forwarding procedures, documentation and requirements for the exports of the company’s products
  • Able to work with freight forwarders/logistic providers/shipping agents/vessel owners and other related parties on shipment planning, arrangement and execution to ensure timely shipment fulfilment
  • To prepare and compile all necessary shipping documents with related parties/authorities such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Custom Forms, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Analysis, etc
  • To investigate/resolve any operational/quality issue throughout the shipment of products
  • To handle/coordinate certification requirements of the company’s products such as Halal, Kosher, HACCP, RSPO, ISCC, MSPO, etc
  • To generate regular reports for activities on Marketing, Product Costing Analysis, Logistics, etc whenever required by the Management
