    <Position Summary>
    The Field Service Technician is at the core of an extensive support network of service personnel worldwide. This trusted advisor is the key customer representative, responsible for confirming, clarifying and meeting the customers’ expectations at every stage of contact and on every service project relating to our machines. The Field Service Technician possesses a strong background in the principles of mechanical and electrical systems, good knowledge on Simotion™, Drives and controls. He serves as customer respondent to non-routine and / or complex technical related problems They think logically and enjoy solving problems with creativity, diligence and achievement.

    <Main Responsibilities>
    - Hand’s on machine Servicing (mechanical & Electrical)
    - Repair, installation, commissioning of new machines through the SEA region
    - Relocation, upgrading and commissioning of existing equipment
    - Working on problems of difficult scope requiring advanced troubleshooting skills
    - Preventive maintenance - Ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair
    - Troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance Programs.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Diploma or Degree in Mechanical /Electronic engineering
    - Experience : At least 5 -10 years of responsibility in a field service role with similar responsibilities.
    - Require Skill :
    > In depth knowledge in mechanical, installation, electrical Controls, electro-mechanical Computer software’s
    > Ability to diagnose faults, software/hardware failure and make recommendations in customer environment
    > Understand the business and its challenges
    > Ability to be multi-task and work in multi-cultural environment
    > Good knowledge of the machinery industry with focus on printing, machine-tools
    - Others:
    > Customer obsessed
    > Strong technical and interpersonal skills
    > Proactive work style, highly reliable and accountable
    > Act dynamically and pragmatically under pressure
    > Fluent in English, all other Asian languages is an asset
    > Creative, team player, result oriented
